Monday will be our singing performance at Whitmore Library. Please meet us there at 2:30 to enjoy our program!
On Monday report cards will be sent home along with a reminder note with your parent teacher conference time. Please review the report card and bring it and your child to your conference time. I will assume that you will be to your appointment unless I hear from you.
On Thursday there will be a substitute in the class while I hold conferences in another room in the building. If your conference is during class, please get your child from the classroom before coming to your appointment.

Next Monday October 31, our music mom has been nice enough to prepare a Halloween singing performance. There are assemblies in the gym all afternoon so the program will be held at the Whitmore Library right behind the school at 2:30. There will be a note and permission slip going home with your students on Monday.

Week of October 17-19, 2011
Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on November 2nd and 3rd. A note went home last week about scheduling you conference online. Call the front office if you have any problems with this.
Remember to turn in the Road to Success Reading folder every Monday. This week you should be marking week 4.
This week is Red Ribbon Week. Monday is wear all red, Tuesday is wear a sports jersey, and Wednesday is crazy hair day.

We are on week 3 for the Road to Success Reading Folders. Please remember to check the days you read with your child and initial the line before sending the folder to school. I give the students their Enter to Win slips on Mondays. The container where the slips go is in the hall between the two kindergarten classrooms if you would like to see how much everyone has read.
If you would like to help with our class Halloween party, let me know. The PM kindergarten classes will do their own parade during their class time so you don't need to bring your child for the school parade in the morning.

The Road To Success Reading Folders are due back to school every Monday. Just mark the days you read with your child and initial the line for week 1. If you read 5 days in one week, your child gets 1 enter to win slip for a bike. If you read 7 days they get 2 slips. Every grade has their own drawing this year!
